Awakening Ananda Within
Inner Peace, Third-Eye Activation, and the Path to Higher Awareness & Enlightenment
Today, I’m going to share with you a powerful meditation for cultivating inner peace, releasing attachments and identification with the body, activating the third eye, and awakening awareness of unconditional bliss and nondual oneness.
Origins of the Practice
It is a unique modification of a longstanding practice, which comes from the Nirvana Shatkam (six verses on liberation) and has been attributed to Adi Shankaracharya, the founder and principal exponent of Advaita Vedanta.
The modification I will be sharing employs a 3-step process which effectively amplifies the practice and its benefits many times over.
This modified practice cuts through illusion (maya) and ego-identification to point directly to the truth that you are already the divine. Repeated practice of this modified meditation dissolves the sense of separation and leads to direct knowledge and inner freedom.
Along with this emerging inner freedom comes a deep awareness of unconditional bliss. And with this modified practice I’ll be sharing, you will very quickly cultivate this bliss awareness in record time.
What to Expect
As this bliss and awareness emerge more powerfully, you may also notice some irritability, restlessness, a short fuse, and emotional volatility. This is due to stirring up and bringing to the surface latent saṃskāras (impressions), vāsanās (tendencies), and suppressed emotions/energies that have been stored in the subtle body.
This is temporary and is a sign that the practice is working deeply. This is the result of the ego/structure resisting dissolution or old patterns being purified.
I will also share a couple of additional practices that will allow you to quickly release these patterns with less resistance and more grace.
